How You Can Convey What You Care About in a Way Others Will Want to Hear

Do you sometimes find that your good intentions and your sincere wish to make a difference are just not getting through?

Perhaps you’ve spent a lot of effort creating your talk, or constructing your discussion points, yet somehow they just don’t land in the way you’d like — especially when you are talking to an audience who are not so aligned with your point of view.

If this is your experience, you are in the majority who want to make a better bridge to those who think differently. Research shows that when another person considers you to be a stranger, or not in their clan of belief, the fight-and-flight areas of the brain are activated and it is hard for them to hear what you say. The key is to make a different kind of connection that is not based on facts or persuasion. Join the live webinar to learn how to connect to your audience in such a way that they want to hear you, and how to avoid the subtle pitfalls that drive your audience away.

Build skills in:

  • public speaking
  • leading discussions
  • empathic listening
  • responding to questions
  • responding to enmity or anger
  • enhancing social impact
This webinar is for you if you:
  • want to make a greater impact but find that your audience does not respond as enthusiastically as you would like.
  • would like to be able to speak in such a way that your audience wants to listen to what you have to say.
  • want to respond more effectively to those who are resistant or angry.
  • would like to better understand and remediate anything you might inadvertently do that creates distrust or distance with those you wish to reach.
