For social impact sector employees, never sleeping or stopping is, unfortunately, an all-too-common reality.

If you feel tired and unenthusiastic about a mission you once loved, dissatisfied or stuck beneath a mountain of stress that only seems to grow, you are facing burnout. In this interactive workshop, gain the skills to recognize burnout, learn strategies for what to do about it, and help friends and colleagues avoid similar pitfalls.

The Instructor 

In 2019, Jenn joined the Be Social Change team officially after spending four years behind the scenes consulting.

Jenn now leads partnerships, identifying ways to support organizations in the social impact space by leveraging Be Social Change’s resources and community. Jenn’s experience in partnerships and sponsorships arises from working for nonprofits, raising nearly four million dollars in sponsorships and small gifts. Jenn also worked in communications and strategy at those NGOs, developing websites, giving presentations to global audiences, and managing mail and email communications.

Jenn has served as a youth delegate to the United Nations representing the Federation of Business and Professional Women. The experience of meeting incredible women entrepreneurs inspired her to start her own business, teaching meditation to groups around New York City, including Columbia University, Facebook, the NASDAQ, Journey Meditation, as well as consulting on wellness curricula. No stranger to burnout, Jenn is passionate about sharing the power of meditation with professionals facing the same issue.

Some of Jenn’s past roles include External Relations Manager for Seeds of Peace; East Coast and Midwest Chapter Manager at buildOn; Institute Coordinator at Global Youth Leadership Institute; and a contributor to b*free.

Jenn earned a Bachelor’s in Religious Studies and Politics from New York University. When she is not meeting with potential partners or crafting strategies behind the scenes, Jenn is usually out for a run or trying to teach herself new languages.
